Ok, ok, I made up the name “Emergency Ramen”. What I was meaning to say, was that this was ramen we were only able to get because of the 2nd State of Emergency in Tokyo this January 2021.
A ramen shop we very much like started offering take out ramen, so my wife, eager to enjoy the ramen we used to have on a frequent basis, brought some home. My poor son Shin was still in school (my daughter Aiko got out early, which is why she was able to enjoy the lunch). But don’t worry, Shin had some when he got back home from school.
